Labor Of Love of the Day: and Cosby Sweaters video editor KingKoltAir seriously hearts the NBA, so naturally, he made “a movie about the emotions and big-time events in the NBA. The best teams, the best players, and their biggest achievements. All the emotions, passion, and glory of the NBA captured in one hour.”

It’s long, but it’s legit — if you follow pro ball at all and have a lull in your Friday, you’ll dig the distraction.

NBA Basketball, why must your season be over? I have developed a seriously unhealthy addiction to you in 2012. I even listen to ESPN Radio on my drive to and from work when I want to take a break from my “Club Commute” playlist. I can’t watch this whole video right now, but what I have watched so far has made me miss you so much!

New Live Performance: fun. - “We Are Young” live on TBS’ Conan

Excellent.  And you gotta love that they got some serious LGBT love in there too. Bonus points. Lots of them.

The Making of “Hero” by Miguel Endara

3.2 million dots = one great illustration. I think I would’ve lost count by 500….

I enjoyed this skit of Maya Rudolph as Beyonce & Justin Timberlake as Bony Bear from SNL. All the impersonations were great. Thanks to my father in law for sharing.

Remixing is a folk art but the techniques are the same ones used at any level of creation: copy, transform, and combine. You could even say that everything is a remix.

Must watch.  Last night my cousin introduced me to this awesome series of mini-docs. There are four episodes, and I have to say that episodes 1 and 2 are my faves, while 3 and 4 are kind of depressing commentaries on the state of the world and what it means to truly create (or copy for that matter). Once again, further evidence that some of the smartest and most creative videos online are housed on vimeo.

Somebody That I Used To Know - PS22 Chorus (Gotye feat. Kimbra Cover)

I know I said I was done posting stuff having to do with this song, but of course those crazy kids from PS22 in Staten had to go and do this.

For my favorite from the PS22 kids check them out doing Phoenix’s Lisztomania.

hysterical! i love zoey deschanel!

Hands down one of the FUNNIEST SNL sketches I’ve seen in a long long time.  Straight up perfection.  I have extreme love/hate feelings about Zooey (read as: I hate that I love her so much), and watching her be able to make fun of the reason why everyone hates her so much (albeit playing Mary Kate Olsen) only makes me love her that much more. Ugh. It is a horrible horrible cycle.

Dear Adele,

Will you marry me? I’m kind of serious.

Dana Tanamachi: Installation in collaboration with The Ace Hotel & Martin Greenfield Clothiers for New York Fashion Week

Skillzzz.  Every time I see one of these videos I feel like have to pick my jaw off the floor.

Watch this right now. Republican Maureen Walsh gives an emotional, deeply personal speech during the debate for marriage equality in the state of Washington. I welled up.
